I booked a large SUV over a month in advance. 30 minutes before I was supposed to pick my vehicle up, I received a text message stating that my vehicle was unavailable and that I needed to call the office to explore other options. After I explained my situation to 3 different employees, I was told that I would receive a call back from the district manager to figure out a solution. Of course he never called. So by the time I was supposed to be on the road, I called again and was told that my only option was to take a smaller vehicle they had available. Seems like this probably could have been figured out during my first phone call. No apology offered. No discount offered for my inconvenience. This was an absolute disgrace in customer service from a company that I have been very loyal to for years.
Update to this: I did end up being helped by somebody who was very helpful. I wish I had got his name but I was kind of in a hurry at that point. The guy was dressed sharp so he may have been the manager. Gave me a free tank of gas. I really appreciate that guy for stepping in. Hopefully enterprise rewards him for handling business because everyone I talked to on the phone seemed like they didn’t even know what day it was.
Entire experience was very welcoming and accommodating. When I Arrived I definitely didn’t expect to leave with a vehicle the same day. My salesman Corey was very warming, kind, and respectful he really worked with me and was able to get me into a vehicle with little to nothing. I was ecstatic with my end results. The whole staff/team was excellent. Shout out the lady who got my Bluetooth radio to work cause I had no idea how to. I give my whole experience a 10!!! Thanks guys
I rented over this weekend and found that the store was not properly staffed or trained. Cars were not cleaned on time, line to get a car assigned was too long and customers were frustrated. In my case, I took a car that was possible just dropped off after a one hour wait. The staff did say i can switch later if it was not fine. I noticed later that the VW Passat assigned was full of pet hair and stinking. I went back the next day asking the car to be switched or cleaned. Again the store was unorganized and they just said you need to wait for at least an hour for it be cleaned. Completely disappointed that even after two trips to the store, I am left with a car that is unhygienic and worst still as a customer with no choice. Enterprise should review their operational efficiency before making tall claims on customer service.
Every member of staff I talked with was always very polite, kind and courteous. My rental car was brought to the auto body shop as promised, so pick up and drop off was so easy. The car performed beautifully and was very clean. Not my first time using Enterprise and because of equally past great experience with them, they will always be my ‘go to’ when I need a rental car.
Hands down the worst car rental place imaginable. I've had the unfortunate experience of having to rent 3 different vehicles from this particular place this year. They happened to be paid for by my insurance company... The first vehicle I received was a Ford SUV. I was supposed to have a truck. They one high milage 2/3 passenger truck available. Not acceptable. I returned that vehicle, one week later, to finally get the truck I wanted. Both of these vehicles had high mileage and smelled of smoke and air freshener. Still had ashes in these vehicles. The third vehicle had not been smoked in, but it was filthy on the outside. There was an embarrassing amount of tar on both of the front fenders. (wife says I'm too picky but I've never had an issue with any other rental from other places.) I needed an additional vehicle and asked for a quote. The agent said he was able to give me a discount. The price he quoted me was about the same price I received when looking online. No favors here.... They should have quoted me the same price they give the insurance companies. Thats how you retain customers. Go anywhere else....
Needed the car for a day to do shopping. Felt jinxed and pressured to add the expensive car insurance by the assistant manager. When I normally would have used my own insurance company and then he wasn’t forth coming with the price of the car I was getting so the customer behind me took the car at the price point I was asking about from the internet. I like renting from enterprise, but this wasn’t a great experience.
Avon Branch Manager Tyshon W. was amazing with his confidence and customer service expertise! Picking up my rental was stress-free and timely. It really felt like I had a "friend in the business." The vehicle was immaculate and sanitized. Thank you kindly for taking care of us!
Great experience. Tony took care of our needs explaining everything and making sure we were comfortable with the vehicle. Avon enterprise is the best and my go to rental place.
